A short furred pure white she-cat with delicate blue eyes is walking through the forest wondering why no one ever talks to her. She feels lonely as she jumps up on a tree branch to catch a squirrel. She jumps down and buries it for later. She jumps back on the branch and sits there. Wishing she had someone to talk to. She had wished for a friend and maybe a mate, but she had no luck with either one. So she sat there on the branch staring at nothing but crisp air. Hoping someone would come along and talk to her."Maybe I'm just not good enough" she said to herself.

She looked down at Hawkclaw. "Hello" she meowed in reply.

Yes, I'm fine... Just no one ever talks to me.....Maybe I'm just not good enough to have any friends.

"Okay," she replied. "At least now I have a friend." She meowed to Hawkclaw "Thank you."

"Hmm...Maybe squirrel." Frosteyes replied "I always try to find squirrel when I go hunting."

"Awesome!" She said "Maybe we could hunt together some time?"

Frosteyes becomes as still as if she was ready to attack prey. Then stares at the tree branch above them. "There is a squirrel above us." she meowed to Hawkclaw.

She jumped to the next branch and with one swift blow to the neck she caught the squirrel. She jumped down and buried it for later. Then she jumped back onto the branch and sat down beside Hawkclaw.

"Thanks" she purred. "you too."

"Thanks," Frosteyes smiled "You are too."

"Hmm." She thought. She looked around to think of something. Then she looked up the tree and jumped to the next branch. "I like to race, I'll race you to the top." she meowed staring at Hawkclaw.

"Okay" she meowed. She stalked the next branch ready to pounce and said "GO!!" And she took off up the tree.

"Are you okay?" she asked in a worried voice.

She jumps to the next branch and kept going almost to the top. "Are you sure?" she purred.

Frosteyes stopped for a second to watch Hawkclaw reach the top. Then she wondered how they were going to get down. They were really high up in the tree. She looked down the tree to find a path back down but she couldn't find one she thought they were stuck.

"I think we are stuck up here." She looked down with worry in her eyes. Then she looked up at Hawkclaw.

Frosteyes stared at the forest floor. As she notice a small tree branch close to them. She nudged Hawkclaw to look. "There's a branch right there." she meowed "Do you think we can reach it?"

"Okay let's try." Frosteyes stared at the small branch and jumped to it. She almost lost her balance, but she regained it. Then she jumped to the next branch. "Your turn."

Frosteyes looked at Hawkclaw "Yeah, I'm fine, at least we found a way down." she purred.

"Well, now what should we do?" Frosteyes asked.
